Definition of the stages:
Idea: I have an idea I am passionate about but I have not taken any concrete steps to carry it out.
Design:I have developed my idea, established my objectives and the methods about how to reach the objectives, the timeline, budget, human resources and materials necessary to design a concrete implementation strategy.
Pilot Project: I have already been able to carry out a first project that has allowed me to incorporate new perspectives into my proposal and to a certain level get to know the human, economical, logistical, technological and methodological resources needed to achieve the objectives of the project.
Advanced: I have already carried out various projects or a program, and in addition to the previous stages I know how to monitor and evaluate the project as well as to measure its results and impact.

We are not only looking for innovative ideas but also for the best way to present them in order to raise awareness of this issue and of the needs of this invisible population:
•All applicants must present their proposal in a video of up to 90 seconds in an attractive way.
•For people who present research proposals the video is optional, but can provide extra points in the evaluation by the jury.
•You do not have to appear personally in the video.
•Chose a catchy title for your video of a maximum of 6 words.
•Proposals that are among the 5 most voted videos will receive extra points in the evaluation by the jury.
•Please be aware that having the most voted video is not a guarantee for receiving funds.
Requirements:
•Upload your video together with the application form in the available field online until July 18th at 2:00pm (Washington DC time).
•Videos can be of a max. 90 seconds length, applications with longer videos will be discarded.
•The preferred format is .mpeg4 but we also accept .mov, (standard format for cellphone videos) mp4, .avi, .wmv, .MPEGPS, flv, 3gpp, webm
•Between the 20th and 25th of July we will publish the videos on the website of this call and on the You Tube playlist Convocatoria I-Lab: Liberando Ideasof our account BID Competitividad e Innovación and they will be open for votes (by counting the number of likes).
•The link and exact hours of the voting will be published a day before voting starts on this website.
•We safeguard the right not to publish videos that do not fulfill an ethical standard and do not contribute to the understanding of the proposal.
