Reduce child malnutrition in rural areas through public-private program
There are social problems that governments alone cannot solve effectively. The problem of child malnutrition in rural areas is due to a wide variety of causes, many of which are particular to specific geographic areas and local conditions. Although governments can invest resources in addressing this problem, the development of innovative products that could provide a solution requires the capabilities of the private sector. Such as developing a snack or food product that will be appealing to children, contain all of the required nutrients, can be easily transported and integrated into the local food culture. The private sector is key, as is the public sector. The proposed idea is to develop a program of incentives for the private sector to invest its resources to address social problems while supplementing its capabilities with those of the public sector.
